New Feature: Permissions for Clinical Notes Come to iPad

Setting Permissions for iPad Use

In the newest release of the EHR/EMR app, clinical note permissions now carry over to the mobile app. In previous versions, access to the mobile app would allow unrestricted access to all of drchrono’s mobile EHR functions. Now, we’ve expanded two permissions to the iPad:

  • Accessing clinical notes
  • Sign/Locking clinical notes

If these permissions are enabled in the drchrono web-based EHR, a user will be restricted from those respective functions.

Currently, only the two clinical note permissions have been expanded to the EHR/EMR app. To enable these permissions, access the permissions editor by navigating to your Account Settings > Staff Permissions.

This feature is available now on the EHR/EMR app version 10.0.59. To download or update your app, visit our iTunes page here.
