Set Date Ranges for Appointment Templates
With this new release, date ranges can be added to your appointment templates, providing you with more flexibility in your appointment profiles. Now, if the scheduling of your appointments change seasonally (Eg. Exam Room 2 in October, Exam Room 3 in November), your appointment templates can now be changed to reflect those changes.
Ensuring Valid Appointment Times
Like before, appointment templates cannot be created if they overlap with existing appointment templates. We’ve extended this so that the appointment cannot be scheduled in the following conditions:
- The duration of the appointment will extend past the end of office hours
- The duration of the appointment will conflict with break times
- The duration of the appointment will overlap and conflict with another appointment template.
Note that though appointment templates may not conflict with your schedule, you may override this by not selecting an appointment template and scheduling the appointment manually.
Date ranges for appointment templates is live now and must be enabled in your account settings prior to use. To enable date ranges for appointment templates, select the ‘Date Range on Appointment Templates’ checkbox within the ‘General’ tab in Account Settings.
