New Feature: The mobile EHR gets real-time medical speech-to-text
Real-Time Medical Speech-to-Text in Your EHR
We’re happy to announce that the drchrono mobile EHR is getting an upgrade to our existing medical speech-to-text service. In the newest release of the drchrono EHR/EMR app, you’ll now have the option to enable real-time medical speech-to-text, giving you the option of transcribing your voice in real time as you dictate your notes.
This feature can be enabled or disabled in the drchrono EHR/EMR app’s settings page. To access this setting, tap on ‘Account’ then tap on ‘Speech-to-Text Settings’. Here you’ll get the option of toggling real-time dictation. This setting is by default disabled, which causes speech-to-text to dictate your voice in discrete segments. To turn on real-time dictation, tap on the switch and the feature will be enabled.
This feature will be available this Thursday, September 28th version 10.0.71 of the drchrono EHR/EMR mobile app to everyone with speech-to-text as part of your plan.
Not sure if you have speech-to-text? Contact your account manager or email accountmanager@drchrono.com. Afterwards, download or update your app by visiting our iTunes page found here.
