New Feature: Patient online check-in comes to onpatient mobile app
Giving patients the convenience to check in on the go
We’re excited to announce that with this newest release of the onpatient mobile app, patients now get the important option to check in to their appointments using their mobile devices (iPhone or iPad). If your patients use the onpatient mobile app, they’ll not only have easy access to their patient portal where ever they go but they’ll also be able to fill out any onboarding forms on the same device they get their appointment reminders. With check in more conveniently available to your patients, you’ll also see benefits — more of your customers will have completed your onboarding forms at the time of their appointment.
How it works
To teach your patients how to use this feature, first have them launch the onpatient mobile app on their mobile device.
Afterwards, when they click on the ‘Appointments’ tab in the navigation bar, they’ll be able to see a list of their upcoming appointments and tap on the ‘Check In’ button to launch the check in process.
The onpatient check in feature is available on version 2.7 of the onpatient mobile app. Currently, the onpatient mobile app is only available for iOS devices including iPhones and iPads. If your patient is interested in checking in with their mobile device, they can update or download their patient portal app on our iTunes page, found here.
