Signing and Saving Faxes to Your Patient Chart
As a requested feature in our feedback community, we’ve listened and are happy to announce that in the newest release of our EMR and EHR mobile application gains the ability to sign inbound faxes in your mobile EHR. With this update, you may now directly copy faxes to your patient documents with an option to add a signature.
To use this feature, access your app’s message center and find the inbound fax you would like to sign or copy to your patient’s documents. Select ‘Copy to Patient Record’ and use the ‘Sign’ button to access the ability to move and draw on the document. Afterwards, you have the option to name the document, tag the contents, and assign the document to a patient.
This feature is live as of version 10.0.53 of the EHR/EMR application. Currently, signing inbound faxes is only supported by the EHR/EMR mobile application and is not yet available on the web EHR.
