Updates to the drchrono EHR VIP Access Integration

With this new update the Norton VIP Access integration has been improved with flexibility upgrades. Now, the drchrono EHR is integrated with the Norton VIP Access Device Manager, allowing you to:

• Set multiple devices for EPCS code generation
• Providing contingency options for losing your device

With this update, you can more conveniently use EPCS and ensure uninterrupted access.

Multiple Devices for EPCS

By accessing the VIP Access Device Manager, you may add multiple devices to your account. The device manager is located in Norton Settings within the ‘eRx Information’ tab of your Account Settings. When you enter the VIP Access Device Manager, take out your existing VIP Access app and enter your code. From that point on, you can add a backup device to your account for greater flexibility while using EPCS. There is not a limit for the amount of devices you may associate with your account. By having multiple devices, you can also ensure that you can easily generate credentialed codes through the VIP Access app in case your primary device is lost or stolen.

Easy Reset of Your Credential ID

The VIP Access Device Manager also allows easy access to reset your Credential ID. This is useful if you have uninstalled the VIP Access app and your Credential ID was reset. Using the phone you previously used, the Device Manager allows you to receive codes through alternative methods other than the VIP Access app. You may receive a login code through voice message or text message. At that point you can access the Device Manager to add new devices and/or hardware IDs to your account. If your device is broken, lost, or stolen you may also use the VIP Access Device Manager to re-verify your identity to register a new device.
